Bulleen Residence

The owners of the Bulleen Residence have recently finished the construction of their new home and require a functional landscape design to suit their families needs. There are various level changes throughout the site which present challenges but also opportunities for different zones.

The owners were wanting to allow for extra parking at the front of the house and rear of the garage to accommodate for when their children get their licence.

They were wanting to create two separate areas in the backyard, the upper terrace accessible by stairs and grassy ramp for lawnmower access.

The upper terraced area was designed to accommodate space for a concreted basketball area for the kids while the lower area was to finish flush with the outdoor patio for outdoor entertainment.

The planting scheme included a conifer garden in the front with small feature trees, while the rear included an array of screening shrubs, feature trees, large canopy trees, low lying accent plants, ground covers and a veggie garden.
