Rosanna Residence
The owners of the Rosanna Residence were looking for an Australian Native garden in the front set back of their newly designed home to complement the existing street aesthetic. The use of different materials, landscape elements and changes in contour allowed for an informal garden setting.
The rear of the property was to take a more formal approach, with a large turf area, defined garden beds and patio area with paving connecting to the front of the property, clothesline and laundry .
The planting scheme carried throughout the project included Australian Native plants that were hardy, low maintenance and drought tolerant. The use of different flowering shrubs, small feature trees, accent plants and ground covers highlights the changes of season and conditions in the Australian climate.
